The SAGE Store-Front Grant program is a dollar for dollar matching grant program for Eastside Business Owners. The program is primarily designed to help businesses with exterior renovations/improvements of their property. However, interior renovations, equipment upgrades and technology upgrades are allowed if at least 50% of the grant is spent on the outside of the building. A matching grant means that for every dollar a grantee receives from SAGE, he or she must spend at least one dollar from another source.
In order to apply for a Store-Front Grant, you must:
- Operate a for-profit business at a property that you own in the SAGE service area. Only property owners are eligible to apply for a Store-Front Grant;
- Be able to provide a budget and task list;
